Charles Dickens was a visionary humanist who constantly fought against social injustice and oppression through his writings. The characters that he created look like caricatures in order to get these ideas across
to the general public
Every story, novel or article you read, the author has put their own thoughts and feelings into their stories in how they see certain events, actions or how they see the world and how it affects them in some way or another. Charles Dickens distaste for the upper class and his strong interested in social reform is very evident in all of his writings. Throughout his life, he worked on writing novels that reflected his own point of view of the social classes
here there is a Charles's though
Also if you'd like to know about his thoughs click here
I deeply agree with scotts's though, Writers write just because they'd like to transmit something(could be point of view, ideas etc) to someone , through stories, articles, novels, poems etc, also for them it's important to be well kown for their opinions.
